Stunted Goldfish Question?
« on: October 08, 2010, 01:40:30 PM »

Can stunted goldfish growing harm the goldfishes well-being?? Cause I only feed my fish fish-flakes and they have been fine? Ive heard comments of people who have stunted fish from just feeding them flakes. Should I feed them other things to? I'm very confused! Should I be concerned for my fish?

You should feed the fish other things too. Please look around the forum for other threads where we've discussed this matter.
For example here: (Link is not visible to guests. Please register to view.)

And yes, your fish won't stay healthy or live long on only flake foods. And as they grow, it'll be unsuitable for their size, as they'll swallow more air than food.
