The construction is basically like a biOrb! Cheesy Minus the filter cartridge I guess Smiley
I was thinking about getting a baby biOrb some day (15L) and keep a betta or something in it! Cheesy But I don't know if I'll bother c:
It's just so fancy that you can change colors on the top and bottom on it! Cheesy

Sindbad is ever so excited when I approach his home, not flaring angry though, but W I G G L I N G and cannot wait to get his food. Yesterday he jumped at my 2 fingers and I was scared he hurt himself bumping into my fingernails, but he's fine. He eats like a horse  Shocked

Mine do that too! Smiley  That's so funny the first time they jumped at me I'm like "whoa"...scared the crap outa me!  I thought they were going to take a chomp out of my finger. Cheesy
My one betta flares at me everytime he sees me.  I don't think he is angry but wants my attention to feed him.  Of course I give him a pellet so that only reinforces the flaring! I think it's cute! Grin

By the way local fish man here ships fish nationwide. Smiley

The other day we went to his place and he have 2 freshwater stingrays they're so cute Smiley He have some alligator gar fish too and they look scary! Shocked

Funny thing is Sindbad doesn't like the pellets at all, had to buy Tetra Betta Flakes. Barbarossa hates the flakes, he only eats the pellets. But both love blood- and blackworms. Roll Eyes

wow, that's so cool Nossie! I'd love to have the light pink one! I saw a crowntail just like that a week ago when I went to PetCo. I was going to get it today if it was still there, but it wasn't  Embarrassed but I still got an awesome betta! (male Halfmoon Betta, named Dusk) He's in the Pictures and Videos section if you want to see!

Hanna - it's so awesome that you've made that home for Sindbad! I bet he loves it  Cheesy it's so beautiful, I have to agree w/ every1 that you are definitely a crazy (awesomely so) aquascaper!!!

Tomorrow, if it's not pouring rain, we plan to drive down to Brisbane Rocklea Markets ( get some Bratwurst and Leberkaese , Brian just loves the Bavarian Meatloaf ) after this to Fishchic Annerley Aquariums.... they've got heaps of bettas....

I don't know why I didn't see this thread before  Shocked but Hanna, this is such a lovely set up for your Betta! I've never seen an UG filter for a fish bowl. Your decorating is so pretty in it too Smiley How many tanks do you have now?

wow, 4 tanks! yays!! I have two (used to have three, but then we moved, so:(

- 29 gallon community tank (I'll post pics in the "Fish Species and Other Aquatic Life" topic)
- 20 gallon long goldie tank
- Almost 1 gallon or so betta tank (for Athena, female betta)
- 1 gallon betta tank (for Dusk)
