They look bored...

Do fish get bored? I have two fantail goldfish that get along just fine, it just seems to me like they're bored. I have some plants and a rock they like to swim through...but is that enough? Should I move them to a spot where they can seem more foot traffic through the house? I'd like to teach them some tricks. Know of any good websites or books to look up?

I would move them to a spot with more foot traffic. Because goldfish will follow people and they simply are like fish puppies.

Bored? You mean, they sit around on the bottom of the tank all day?
If so, they're not bored, but probably not very comfortable in the water. You'll need to do weekly water changes of about 50% of the tank volume to keep them happy and healthy.

Be sure you're feeding them a good variety of foods as well, pellets, blood worms, shrimp, peas, cucumber, zucchini...
