Yeah, final exam week is coming up for me, too.  What's your major, Kat?
My fishies eat off my fingers sometime. bu tthe problem is that they sometimes get so excited that they swim into my fingers and I end up poking them in the face! Sad  Then they look at me like it was my fault!  Yeah, loud...*smack smuck shulp shulp!*
Yeah, we still have no clue what Stripe is...then I heard some males never get the tuburcles...*sigh*  Ah well.

I'm going back to school after a five-year hiatus and majoring in Secondary English Ed.  I'm about halfway through.  As a fellow English person, I have to ask: Dickens- love, hate, or sometimes okay?  I'm slogging through "David Copperfield" as we speak. Sad  I wish my fish could write books; I bet they'd be interesting.

I've never read Charles Dickens.. Sorry. Tongue I've read someone else though... Whoever wrote "Moll Flanders." That is a decent book. Tongue and we have a special something called MLA format.. WHICH SUCKS! I dunno what you have, but it's prolly easier for you Tongue

And fish writing? you would make a KILLING off of their talent!! Tongue:P "Come see the amazing writing goldfish!" lol

We have MLA as well, so I feel your pain. Wink  We also have APA format, which is used in the science and educational fields, so there is a lot of switching back and forth.  Have you found Son of Citation?  It's a website where you plug your citation info in and it creates a citation in MLA automatically.
It would be great if they could write, although I have a feeling most of the stories would revolve around food.

Seriously? lol I have to do APA too.. and I have one class where I have to do Chicago style (WHICH IS CONFUZZLING!!!)

and really? Son of Citation you say?? Tongue I shall have to look that one up... hehehe... ^^ Are you going into education?

Yeah, Education grades 6-12.  I couldn't do Elementary Ed.- there is no way I could keep up with kindergarteners. Wink

I was thinking last night about our new goldfish, Izzy, and began to think in poetry.  It needs a little work as far as the meter goes, but here it is:

Little fish, gentle fish
Colored like the orange sunset over the silver stream
I watch you swim.
Curious fish, small fish
Tail of lace and crowned with whitest fins
A spring bride would envy.
Pretty fish, happy fish
You school with your large tankmates so eagerly
Wanting to belong.
Baby fish, growing fish
One day you will be big and bold, all grown up
And you will not remember
Being afraid of the airstone
Or cuddling against the fin of your larger friend as he sleeps
Or watching us from behind a plant
But I will remember
And I will watch with love as you learn and grow through the years
My Izzy, my goldfish, my pet, my friend.
