I love their colors! Those red spots are so lovely Smiley

Hey, how big is that tank? Maybe you could try and fit a Java Fern in it? Goldfish think that it tastes bad so they won't eat it, and the plant will give them oxygen and consume nitrates Smiley

Java fern is a very good choice, you can also try to grow it by your own...
And your fishies Dorie and Nemo are BEAUTIFUL, I love the red dot on her lips/nose...  Cheesy

How to grow it on your own without any "host" plants to take the little ones from? : D

I've largely grown my own, since mom has a huge forest of it in her tank, so I've taken some little "plantlings" from them Cheesy But if you don't have a forest of Java Fern anywhere?

Of course you need to buy the first plant and then look out for the little plantlings, etc.
I started to grow now the Hornworth. IT WORKS.

They are quite a few, If you like to provide sth like a salad snack it is Hornworth and Ambulia. You will need to replace it from time to time, as the fishies love to nibble it. But you can try to grow it too.
Other plants they don't nibble at because they do have leathery leaves is Anubias, Amazon Sword Plant, Java Fern, Vallisneria.

You can create a "watergarden" by using taller plants as background plants and the shorter ones in the foreground. Fishies will love it, as they also seek shelter, especially at night when they sleep.

Also the more plants, the better Nitrate levels, as plants use Nitrate as fertilizer. They also use CO2 and produce O2, and keep the algae down.

Your fish are lovely! Smiley
However, your tank may be too small for them in the near future. Wink
