my fish got stuck on the sucking tube of the filter (me and bf were at movies, came home and discovered her) i quickly turned off the filter and she floated to the top and attempted to swim (sideways) she has "suck" marks in her body. is she going to be okay.?
she is a Fantail goldfish.
she is still breathing but we dont think she is gonna make it
*Note: we were at movies for about 2 hours, but we do not know how long she had been stuck***

How sad
The shock of that kind of trauma must have been horrible for her. I'm sorry to hear this. I don't know if she will pass because of this poor little one. take care

It may be good to try adding some salt and melafix to your tank
Just follow the directions on the bottle/package
BUT, if she got stuck in the filter in the first place, she might already have been sickened by something...

I agree, if a fish gets sucked by the filter then it was already weak.
I would do a water quality check.
I will be very surprised if your fish makes it.
