carbon - what kind

Hi everyone!

I am ready to re-stock my carbon supply and am going to try the pellet type and put it into the bags myself.

What kind is good for goldfish?  There's extreme activated, economy activated, and just plain activated...

The Fluval bags that I have been using have carbon that's "premium, low ash, no phosphates, and won't change the water's pH".

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a certain type for goldfish?

Some even say that you can use less in your filter.  How do you know how much to use?

Thanks!

Nah, goldfish are like other freshwater fish, there's no particular "goldfish-friendly carbon". Just take whichever you're comfortable with Smiley
