Bristlenose
« on: April 29, 2012, 12:21:00 PM »

A couple of months back I bought a sexed pair of bristlenose  . The female looks the same as the male but without bristles. However; I am beginning to doubt she is a bristlenose as she is now twice the size of the male.  She looks 100 % bristlenose apart from her alarming growth-rate.

Thoughts anyone?

It looks like you were linking to a video or something? It doesn't show :'c

Either way, she might just be a bit older than the male. We've had a case of a female being twice the size of the male at one point but I haven't seen a bristlenose being much bigger than 12cm, so if she's a lot bigger than that, she might be a different kind of catfish Smiley
