My poor lil fishy has been hiding for a couple days now...either behind the filter or in one of the 'plants' ...if he does swim...he seems to be struggling or flopped on his side..but still breathing. he wont eat either. last night for the first time, (ive had aquarium for less than a week) i tested water for ammonia...there is about 2.0 and i have treated water for it last night and tonight with 'amquel plus' ...is there anything i can do for this lil guy?

It seems you are trying your best. Most pet stores will guarantee their fish for at least 2 weeks , so if yours doesn't make it you probably return it and exchange it for another one. I would call ahead first to make sure their policy allows this so you don't waste a trip. Hopefully your fish is doing ok.
