I don't think they were feed to them, I think they had died and had been in there for so long they were being eaten all starting to rot
If I was a millionare I'd steal them all and have tanks all over my house.

Wouldn't matter if you were a millionare
Maybe I could invent something so the fish's generate their own electricity like through the current of the water from them swimming. Or turn ammonia into electricity!!!

This is so true!
While we were out today, we went to another petstore to look at some fish. And there was especially one little guy, he/she just wiggled and wiggled - I was scared he/she will wiggle their tail fins off, LOL - as soon as I pointed my finger towards him/her talking to my hubby how cute he/she is. Would have LOVED to take fishie home....
Besides I talked to the staff there about different things, wanted to know how much they know... NOT MUCH.
... think we should go and work in pet stores, at least in the fish department...

Maybe you should just own your OWN petshop and sell people really healthy fish!

Id have to cart fish from elsewhere, me being right in the middle of nowhere, but I'd love my own petshop

You wouldn't have to "cart" fish. You would order them and they would be drop shipped to you!

BTW, I prefer to go to the pet stores and choose my fish, He/she must wiggle at me and must be really quick swimming arround and wiggle again and look into my eyes.
Also I have a close look at those tanks they have in there too.

It would be cool to be a goldfish breeder, simply, and sell your own beautiful fish
Liek, you don't even need to work at a pet store then
I'd love to breed goldfish one day... but I wonder if I'd EVER be able to afford any goldies of breeder quality... xD
Anyway, I just have to answer to that poor Moor that Andrea mentioned, that's just terrible :'C Poor little fishie! It broke my heart...

thats fishicide!
you diont feed fish to other fish! especially not fancy fish!!!
Actually, here in bait shops they sell goldfish to fisherman to use as bait to catch bigger fish.
*sigh, I suppose those big fish cannot resist those shiny gold scales sparkling and wiggling in the water...

UGH!!! Why can't they just use stuff that is already dead and was killed humanely? Sticking a sharp hook into a goldfish and putting it in the sea while it is still (barely) alive. How horrible

Well, fish react better to motion, I've been fishing myself
But then I used a different kind of rod, and you use a shiny metal... fish as bait. There's a hook by the tail, and they usually have really strong, shiny colors for the pikes to notice
I guess that if you'd use a dead fish as bait, it either wouldn't attract too much attention, or you'd have to shake the rod so the dead body would look like it's swimming... xD I prefer fishing with nets... *cough*

Yeah, I guess some fishermen use a live fish because they can catch bigger and better fish more easily than using something artificial or dead. Some fish just aren't attracted to fake bait!

Hmm but wouldn't it look like it was swimming around because the water would be moving it around? But then again I know nothing about fishing, never done it.

I don't know either why but I know the bait shops sell feeder goldfish. Maybe I should go there and rescue my next fish!

Andrea: It depends on the weather
And what kind of water you're fishing in, if it's in a stream for example, the bait will be moving more or less constantly. But the sea or some bigger lakes are a different story o_O

We had some frozen shrimp baites, that 's what they sell here, but no fish to catch, so we finished up to feed the pelicans, LOL
