What live plants are good for a freshwater aquarium for tropical fish?

Any plants sold in the fish department in the pet shop. Just be sure to ask about their light requirements, since it's better to choose those that need less light as they're usually more hardy and easier to care for Smiley

You could also borrow some books and look through them if you're looking for any specific plants for your setup.

I do have different plants in our tank: Hornworth, Elodea, Vallisneria, Anubias, floating moss. And I combined them with a few (real looking) fake plants
