Hello all, my name is Roger and I am from Bessemer City North Carolina (near Charlotte area).  I have had saltwater setups and Cichlid setups before, but this is my first Goldfish setup. I got a very bad case of ich and lost all my saltwater stock, so I decided to try something different.  I purchased a new 40 breeder tank from Petco during their $1/gallon sale.

Equip includes a Marineland 350 magnum canister filter, Hydor heater, Korollia 2 powerhead, small air pump w/ airstone, and my lighting is 2 55w PC's 50/50 retrofits that I modded into an old non working shop light. I am planning on getting a new light setup next month. Deco is white sand that I had from my old salt setup, a few granite style river rocks, about 10 deco glass rocks, 3 fake plants, and a house on stilts that I used to hide the airstone-bubbles come out of chimney looking like smoke.

Livestock is 1 red/white ryukin, 1 orangish-red regular fantail, 1 blue oranda, 2 black moors, 1 rubber lipped pleco, and 4 snails ( 1 each of-black, ivory, gold, and blue).

I plan on adding a red/white oranda, and a solid red oranda or ryukin. I would also like to get a chocolate oranda if I can find one.

I agree with Hanna about the stocking actually, so you should consider giving away some of the inhabitants to narrow it down to a maximum of 4 goldfish.

Your fish are so adorable nonetheless! Your moor looks just like mine, the body shape and the fins! Do they all have names?
I myself, have an 83 gallon with 8 lovely fish Actually one of them is a chocolate oranda Along with him lives four fantails, a red, a while and two calico + 2 moors and a red and white oranda I've also got an overly aggressive pom pom that I keep separately xD
