I have a new tank set up, it has been running for 3 weeks now. Two weeks with fish. When and how much of a water change should I do. I take my water into my local pet shop for testing, and everything is in the safe zone!!! I have 2 med ryunkins, it is a 45 gal corner tank. I have a good airstone as well as a outside power filter, aqua clear 300 on the tank. I keep the temp at 72. Thanks for any help..

I'd do a 20-25% water change once a week. you should probably invest in a master test kit, it would be easier than taking your water to the pet store all the time. they run for about $20, so its not a bad investments at all Smiley Hope this helped

I agree with Katarine, I do have a test kit too and today I did a waterchange 25-30% maximum. I do this once a week.
It is also important to rinse the filter pads and other accessories in a bucket with "old" aquarium water. NOT under the tap as this will remove all good bacteria.
