If you need to treat only one fish it could be useful to separate him and treat him in another tank, since salt harms the plants too. But if you can't do that, maybe you could keep the snail in some plastic container during treatment? (with the precious plants)
I tried checking how snails react on salt, but I couldn't really find anything... there are those in marine aquariums, but I guess they're different from the fresh water ones.
