Water cloudy after water change...?

I did a water change last night and cleaned out the filter etc...
And this morning the water is cloudy and there is what appears to be some foam on the top of the water. (not much just a little bit near the filter - it looks like lots of tiny bubbles clumped together)
Water change = 35%
Ammonia = 0
pH = 7.4
(Cannot check nitrates/nitrite atm as I need to buy a new test kit)

Is this anything to worry about or is it just a bacteria bloom?
This has never happened before after a water change so I just want to make sure Wink

You probably stirred things up a bit with cleaning out the filter and the bacteria are now looking for a home again. Smiley
Things should settle down in a day or two. Wink  You can add a little extra beneficial bacteria booster right to your filter media.  should help a bit. Wink
Hey Abby have you checked out my baby goldfish...It's in the pond catagory.  It is day 8 and they are getting bigger! Smiley

Ok thanks....I'm sure it probably just is that I stirred things up but I want to make sure as it has never been this cloudy before Undecided

The same thing happened to me last week when I did a major clean on my filter.
My tank was cloudy for a few days too! Wink

yup, that's what happens - I did a complete re-decoration and revamp of my goldfish tank and the water was so cloudy! but after about 15 minutes it cleared up  Wink

Ok great.  This is the biggest clean out I have done in a while so thats probably why. I stirred up the gravel quite a bit and fully cleaned the filter. It looks like it may be a little less cloudy now than it was this morning Smiley
