What Goldie food do YOU use???

Hey all! Just thought I'd pop a question out to the rest of you - what kind of goldfish foods do you use?

I use:

~ Ocean Nutrition Seaweed Select(TM) Green Marine Algae

~ TetraColor Sinking Goldfish Granules

~Hikari Freeze-Dried Tubifex Worms

~ TetraFin Goldfish Flakes

(I have commons, comets, shubunkins, orandas, and a variety of peaceful tropical community fish)

 Grin I guess it is but some of that I feed to both the tropicals and the goldfish.
I still would like to try New Life Spectrum.

Hikari Goldfish Staple (mini pellets)
Saki-Hikari Fancy Goldfish (small sticks)
Sera Goldy Royal (sinking growth pellets)
JBL Novo Pearl (floating pellets, a bit bigger)

as live foods:
JBL NovoFex (FD tubifex cubes)
JBL NovoFil (FD bloodworms)
Sera Raffy L (FD gammarus/shrimp mix)
Tetra Natura Brine Shrimp Mix (Brine shrimp in gel)
Tetra Natura Bloodworm Mix (Blood worms and Krill in gel)

as veggies:
Frozen Spinach
Frozen Peas
Omega One Seaweed (Green sheets, dried)
Omega One Seaweed (Red sheets, dried)
Tetra Natura Algae Mix (Lots of algae in gel)
+ various fruits and veggies now and then c:

Oh yeah I forgot the fruits and veggies as treats:
Zucchini, broccoli, red leaf lettuce, spinach, frozen peas, and oranges. Grin

Here's our menue:

fresh foods: water melon
                    strawberries
                    orange pulp
                    zucchini

frozen foods: thawed and shelled peas ( they go nuts with them )
                    veggie cube
                    brine shrimp
                    bloodworms
live food:     blackworms

staple food: Omega One kelp flakes
                    Omega One freeze dried brine shrimp
                    Tetra Goldfish flakes
                    Tetra Goldfish crisps
                    Hikari Goldfish pellets ( soaked in Garlic Guard )
                    differrent variety of other flakes and algae pellets ( prepacked in the pet shop )

I recently purchased Sun-Dried Gammarus. Broken into bits, my goldies LOVE it!

I know. It gets really smelly. I crumple up each piece and sprinkle smaller chunks over the water and they all go into a frenzie!  Grin

How small are the mini pellets. I'm giving my goldie small sinking pellets and he's eating that with no problem, but everything else that is bigger than a pencil tip, is giving him problems. I cut up an apple and it was such a small peice (I mean teeny) and he ate it, had issues, released it, sucked it back in, released it, sucked it back in released it, and then he got tired of it all and moved on.

They are about 1 millimeter across, really small bead-like things Smiley There are also color enhancing pellets of the same brand!

I tried Orange pulp a couple days ago - the goldies LOVE it!!! I mean, it was like "FEEDING FRENZY!!!!"
LOL, anyway!

I gave a cucumber to my pleco and he devoured it in one night!

Zucchini is more nutritious than cucumber Smiley  My pleco eat the peel and everything just like that Wink The goldfish love it too Smiley

hm... I'll definitely try that! I'll clip some zucchini to the side of the tank for the goldies and put some in for the pleco!
