chocolate moor?

I have a 6 month moor, or at least his tankmate is a moor. They were both sold as moors at my LFS.
About a month after I got them, one (Bronzie!) began turning a pale gold. Now he is totally gold while the other remains
black. I was reading a thread started by cheri alexander about goldfish colors and now I'm TOTALLY confused.
Is Bronzie just a telescope eye or is he a moor?  Huh

I think he is a telescope-eye because moors are the only goldfish to keep the color black theyr'e whole lives.

To be considered a true black moor, the fish has to be absolutely SOLID BLACK. Any other color automatically classifies that goldfish as one of the telelscope variety. Colors such as red, chocolate, and gold fall under that catagory. I have even seen 'moors' that are half-black, half-orange.

It is also a fact that black moors kept in warmer temperatures (78 degrees F and above) have a tendancy to turn orange.  Shocked

Well, okay. I got rooked! Haha, no, the moors were just more expensive. Their temp. is 72 so I guess I have a telescope. I've seen the half black half gold too. Beautiful! Smiley
