Snail aren't boring!! A couple shrimp will do fine in a 1 gallon. But I heard of someone who's shrimp sliced a huge cut in the betta's fin.

Bowls are for soup, not for fish   

  , LOL, but going back to be serious, LOl, please don't keep them in a bowl, even so called cleaner shrimp need filtration aeration and they also create an additional bioload.
( I used to keep my bettas in bowls ( big ones with Ug filter, etc ) but chamged them a few month ago into tanks with internal filter too.
Basically it doesn't matter how small your beloved critter is, if you want to take care and look after them properly and give them the most natural environment possible, keep them in a tank

2 gallon is less than 10 litres... hmmm, better than 1 g.
But sometimes walmart  ( like our Kmart ) should have some starter sets: tank with lid and internal filter ( 20l tank >>> approx 5 g ) for really less $. We bought some of them for our bettas for $ 29 each.
Maybe you like to have a look arround first before spending $ for a 2g and then discovering there are 5g tanks for much the same price on sale.....

So true, unfortunately we cannot extend the space we need 
What about waiting then until your moors are in the 29 when you get it and set it up and after this use the 10 for your shrimp etc?
I think this would be a good idea?

I am not familiar with zebra danios though how big they get, but I got a fighter with 5 rasboras and 2 corys in a 20l tank, very good planted, gravel, log and filtration... it may work out with having the shrimp, the danios and one fighter, but it has to be researched.

I've had zebra danios, they don't grow that big, I think they'd be about 2 inches, MAX.

Shrimp need a lot more care than you'd first thing, good filtration is pretty important for the little guys, so a bowl wouldn't be ideal for them.
