What is the matter with my goldfish? ..

My goldfish nemo is a baby and he's kinda fatter well alot fatter then his playmate which is a goldfish he always chases her i think their 1 years old or going to be and now he's not chasing the other goldfish now he's just being kinda guided by the other fish or being kinda chased


Now their swimming at the bottom together then up then ect.,


1 is each goldfish, i have 2 goldfish in a 5 gallon tank and i plan on upgrading soon, and i just asked cuz he's acting weird

(1inch) is how much my goldfish is

It does not sound like anything is wrong with your Goldfish, it seems that they're doing something called 'swimming' which as I understand it, fish are apt to do.

How many fish do you have in your tank and how big is the tank? If it's small with alot of fish he might be 'chasing' her because he is stressed or maybe he wants to mate or maybe he's just doing what fish do.

I think your fish could be trying to mate since nemo is chasing the female one.

They are probaly mating, though the mating time is in the spring

i recently added a goldfish to my tank and now one of the other fish looks like it dying..what would be the cause of that

did you check your water quality? high pH, high ammonia, high nitrates (or nitrites I cant remember) are harmful to your fish. Does he look normal in appearance? you're gonna have to give us a little more information if you want us to help you at all.

The new fish might have added some undesired disease to your tank. But first and foremost, test the water to see that everything is okay.
And like Katarine said, we might need some symptoms and descriptions of his behavior and looks to be able to give a good diagnose.
