I have to admit when everyone first told me that my 60L wasnt big enough I thought pfft but I was soon proved wrong and you were all proved right. luckily none of the fish were harmed in the mean time. Even now sometimes I read something that has been put and think at the time ffs, but I always think about it afterwards and then think sugar they were right and go off and do it. haha! You just have to get over yourself and get on with it, nobody likes to be told they are wrong but when lives are on the line you just gotta suck it up.
I agree with all of you guys, some of these people really annoy me. I know I don't know everything about keeping my lovely babies and I personally find your advice very valuable, don't give up on us that do listen because of these jerks that don't/won't listen.

Heh, the reason we won't give up on the few that have some common sense are those that don't
I would've ran off screaming into the street a long time ago if it wasn't for the tiny percentage of reasonable people that come on here xD

Looks like you guys scared off another one. Good going. Also calling them jerks and mocking them with the bean can joke is uncalled for. I think it's wrong to assume that this person does'nt care about their fish or that they are'nt listening, are you sitting in their shoes on the other side of the screen? Are you psychic? Do you know what they're thinking/feeling?

The tank he was photographed in was just the tank I use when cleaning his regular tank.
Many thanks,
Ziggy's best friend
Did anyone read this before jumping to conclusions? The 10 gal tank was used only for the photo while Hansnaughty was cleaning it's REGULAR tank. Now my question to Hansnaughty is, how big is it's regular tank?
Even if the answer is 10 gallons, I could see an 8 inch fish living in a 30-40 gal tank and it would be a vast improvement.

WRONG on so many levels...you need to re-home your fish asap mate: 2 comets in 10 gallons is cruel

it wasn't really being mean because at that point it was obvious they weren't coming back... and it does indeed say he lives in a 10 gallon tank.
i am now kicking myself for posting in an old thread and starting a **** hissy fit.

Sweetie, don't worry about that, that was spill over from another thread up in the Lounge, I only hope GoldFishNoob will come back
As for the original poster, they simply didn't come back. Having re-read my comments, I see nothing wrong with the advice I gave. I only hope the OP and Ziggy are doing well and that one day they might come back having changed their mind
Ziggy is a very beautiful fish and very well cared for to have grown to such a size! He just need's a little extra swimming room

Fantailer don't worry yourself about it
If they didn't want to take our advice, not much we can do there really.
