Hello to everybody,
gee, yesterday I felt my eyes popping out when I discoverd this "scorpion" swimming in the tropical tank as if it always lives in the water
Fished it out asap as it was bigger than some babies....
Any ideas what it is???

Eeeeeek!!! this is totally rank Hanna!
thank goodness you discovered it and got it the fricken frack outta the tank! Greasy little beastie must have known where to come for the good grub! At first glance I immediately thought of a dragonfly or damselfly because of the 6 legs...

We bought some hornwort off of Ebay and when we got it, it had that insect in with the plants. We would like to know what it is also.

It looks like a dragon fly!!!! Maybe it is a baby one?? Because I think they lay their eggs in water
I dunno, but it is real scary looking, I would have freaked out! I'm glad it didn't go any harm.

I have no idea what it is, except like the others said it might be a baby dragonfly?

You wouldn't believe it, while I did a water change and cleaned the moss today, there was another of those things wiggling in the moss.
Wonder where they come from
Must research if dragon flies breed under water... I thought they'd do it above water surface....hmmmm, scratch my wooden scull and got splinters underneath my fingernails

If you fish in sewage rivers you will find them everywhere. Don't hurt it!

OrandaLover, I sure wonder how it got in there... the only explanation might be: I ordered some plants over the net and maybe eggs were already in there....
Fantailer: Sure I never fish in sewage rivers, YUUUUUCK..... Do you?
