Hahahaha! Cheesy
You guyz are a hoot!
Well actually the female betta has to be removed after mating or she will fight with the male and try to eat the eggs.  The male builds a bubble nest for the eggs and guards the bubble nest until the babies hatch.

In this one book I have they say a goldfish can distinguish between shapes and colors and such and have eyesight that is very simular to ours.  I'm like "Get real...sheesh mine can't even distinguish between a flake a food and their friends turd floating about"! Cheesy

Hahahaha Mindemae,

yes goldfish eyes are not that much different to ours.
A few weeks ago I started a thread like "Calling moderator...." but not much happened. Must be under General discussion.
We may get it back alive ?

I don't think there are freshwater seahorses are there?  If there were then they would be compatable with a goldfish.
I do love sea horses tho.
