What type of goldfish have i got?

I have these just over 2 weeks now they at=re so pretty to watch im gona invest in a new tank tho but just wondered what type they are if anyone knows? Smiley

My 2 year have named them Nemo and dorie lol also how do you guess there gender?

I would say fantail. I have no clue how to tell genders apart. Sorry!   Cute rainbow with the pot of gold by the way! luv it!

I think they are fantails, bit hard to tell  Wink

BTW did you think about adding some live plants for your fish?

hi ty i have just added some fern im thinking about getting a bigger tank tho they have grown a bit in the short amount of time we have had them Smiley

They look a whole lot like fantails considering their body shape Smiley If they have double tails, you can see for yourself that they're fantails Smiley

They are fantails defenetly. The fat one is the female.

On goldfish you can't determine gender from their body shape.
I happen to have some fantails with deeper bodies than others, and funny enough, the ones with deeper bodies are boys.
