Nothing lol. I imagine it didn't cost much so put it to the side until you have something to do with it?

No worries, .. I'm not that familiar with gallons, so maybe succulents are an option, just like a miniature garden  Wink

LOL, they are those plants with thick, fleshy leaves, not quite cacti, as those have spikes Wink
But both easy to care, like for me, as I am not that good with delicate plants either, LOL

Mhm, a saltwater tank is much, much more complicated to maintain than a freshwater one! So it might be good if you'd keep some goldfish or something in the 40 gallon for now to gather some more experience Smiley

Seahorses are also one of the most hardest fish (are they fish?) to look after just to let you know. They are incredibly sensitive and should definitely be left to the experts of experts Tongue

Andrea, I give you a karma for this...

I agree, seahorses are sooooooooooooooo cute, I love them too, but very, very delicate and fragile.

Ellirianna, if there are problems there for you to keep fish, maybe you do have a very good friend and you both can put up a tank at his/her place and care together for the lill guys? Smiley

And dont worry I'm not getting seahorses Smiley I know I cant care for them for now I'm getting a betta after i get all the supplies and get my little ones rehomed Sad

But ... WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS BOWL? I know if i give it away some well intentioned kid will stick a fish in it. So what do I do with it?

They're delicate, and they need space to grow, and they need awesome water quality, and they need to be fed all the time d:
Which means... Fry need a big tank with good, but gentle filtration. So... no :C

Isolation tank for what? Every fish needs 1 gallon for 1 inch of body length. So if I was you, the only fish I'd keep there would be halves of fish Grin

it would be a good betta isolation tank. They like small spaces and during treatment or aggression problems it would work well temporarily
