what kind?
« on: April 04, 2011, 05:35:11 AM »

Hey guys wondering if anyone can identify this gold fish, he's about 12 months old, a rough guess.
Curious because he does not look like any other gold fish ive owned.   He's belly seems to be getting bigger, unsure if its suppose to be like that or if something is wrong with him.
Named him dollar because when i picked him out he looked like a dollar coin with fins.

Thanks for the reply, i did a little research after and thought that was the case,  it just threw me off a little because of he's tail.   Thanks again.

Fantails can have very different tails  from fish to fish Smiley
Some have large lobes similar to a butterfly tail, while some have long, trailing tail called a ribbon and the majority have pretty stiff and compact tail which is the most common one for fantails.
