Ponds can be made of many different things such as discarded bathtubs, plastic pools, or wood frames with layers of heavy duty plastic sheeting. There are basically three types of ponds. They include the molded pond, lined pond , and concrete pond.
i want to build a concrete trough three sections the first area being for the pump 3x2x2 the second 3x2x2 for the water to flow over into the main trough 3x3x12 feet long my intentions are to keep trout in it for a few month out of the year. the pump part of the trough to be sealed from the elements . my yard is on a slight slope part of it to be in the ground but a want most of the trough to be out of the ground . i was thinking the thickness of the concrete to be 4 inches thick. looking for someone to take my ideas and make a plan to go by including pump piping concrete design. thank you
